Julian J. Gim, Attorney at Law

Julian, a bilingual attorney proficient in Korean and English, is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to the communities in Arizona and Minnesota. He practices with a selective, low-volume caseload approach, enabling him to devote the full attention each client's case truly deserves. Unlike larger firms where staff often field calls and schedule appointments, Julian personally answers the phone and speaks directly with his clients.

During free initial consultation, Julian explains the legal process in clear, simple terms—what to expect, effective strategies for the best results, and a straightforward step-by-step overview. By the end of the conversation, clients feel prepared, confident, and at ease, fully understanding the timeline and purpose of each stage.

Through strong advocacy, Julian has helped many clients obtain the justice and compensation they deserve for injuries and losses. His personal injury practice covers a wide range, including car and truck accidents, motorcycle collisions, bicycle and pedestrian incidents, DUI and hit-and-run cases, dog bites, animal attacks, and slip-and-fall accidents. He also handles insurance matters such as no-fault claims, underinsured motorist coverage, and uninsured motorist coverage.

As a Korean American immigrant, Julian understands the confusion and stress of immigration cases firsthand. He provides compassionate, expert guidance in family-based green cards, temporary work visas, employment-based permanent residency, and citizenship and naturalization.

Julian also advises on business law, helping clients choose the right entity for new or existing businesses—including LLCs and S-corporations—and restructures partnerships as needed. He drafts and reviews partnership agreements and other key documents to protect personal assets and the business during disputes.

Julian started his career as a personal injury attorney at a prominent Minnesota firm, later becoming a partner. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School with a concentration in business law. While in school, he interned for the Honorable Jacqueline Regis in Hennepin County Court and at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, assisting clients with immigration issues such as naturalization and crime victim relief.

Julian is admitted to practice law in Arizona and Minnesota, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

Outside of his law practice, Julian loves playing the piano and bass guitar, as well as enjoying the outdoors—through exercise or simply taking in nature—with his family.

If you or someone you know has been injured or lost a loved one due to an accident or possible negligence by another person or entity, it is crucial to contact Julian as soon as possible. The earlier you reach out, the more effectively he can assist. He provides free, no-obligation consultations for personal injury and accident cases and is readily available by phone or text. You pay nothing unless he successfully recovers compensation for your pain and suffering.
